Under the leadership of Ronald Schaap, PQR has successfully navigated its second decade. Despite economic setbacks such as the dotcom bubble and the 2007 economic crisis, growth remains assured.
Also, PQR continues to evolve as an IT service provider. At the dawn of 2010, thanks to the establishment of the project office, it is increasingly able to offer project-based consulting and implementation services, and increasingly advises its clients on management issues as well.

Ronald Schaap becomes CEO of PQR.
After a decade of growth and commercial success, PQR begins the new century and its second decade with a broadening of its offerings thanks a number of strategic acquisitions, and strengthening the organization with the experienced director of Ronald Schaap as CEO.
In addition to hardware sales and installation, PQR will also focus on software consulting and project support. At the hardware level, she specializes in products from Compaq, Netapp, and IBM; at the software level, she works with Citrix (server-based computing), Microsoft, Legato, and BMC.

DEC, also known as "Digital Equipment Corporation" or "Digital" for short, was an American manufacturer of computer systems and peripherals that merged into Compaq and HP, respectively.

Henk-Steven Renzenbrink
Rolf van Gameren and Henk-Steven Renzenbrink co-found PQR on Burgemeester Verderlaan in Utrecht. In its early days, PQR specialized as a DEC broker in the supply and installation of computer systems from the U.S. Thanks to fast deliveries, favorable rates and short lines of communication with the manufacturer in the U.S., PQR was able to immediately establish itself as a serious player in the market.
3 decades of excellence
As you can read, a lot has changed in 30 years. Where PQR began as a small company with a few people ordering hardware over the phone from manufacturers in America, we have now grown into one of the market leaders in IT infrastructure in the Netherlands.
For the first ten years of our existence, we made a difference for our customers mainly by being able to deliver quickly at favorable prices. In the second decade, we broadened our technical knowledge, which led to winning major tenders and appreciation from our customers. And recently we expanded our portfolio, making PQR known as an all-round IT service provider.
What will you do in the next 10 years?
Despite rapid technical developments in IT, both inside and outside our organization, a few things have never changed. The core values we now promote as Serenity in IT propagate were actually our guiding principles when we started in 1990:
